1. Screening or winnowing
Sunflower is same with other oil seeds, the first process is screening or winnowing to ensure that the material purity.

2. Magnetic separation

Removing the magnetic metals for protecting the oil equipments

3. Softening

After magnetic separation,then enter into the softening equipment, adjustment to reduce the moisture and temperature of germ and reduce its toughness.Finally,the germ moisture is 12% ~ 12%, temperature is degre 50 ~ 60.

4.Flaking

Using the flaking mill to make the oil seeds into flake,increasing the surface area of exit oil.The thickness should be 0.3-0.35mm, it maybe broken easily if it is too thin.
